Important Things to Remember

Hello All,
After reading the postings over the past few days I feel the need to
just say a few things. There have been those on this site that have
been, in the past, belittling and rude, but for a majority of the time
it has all been sincere. We must remember that some are typing while in
excruciating pain and desperately in need of sleep. Grammar and
etiquette do not always come through. It is tough to not respond to
what may seem callous, but if it seems rough, remember how the person
may have been feeling at the time. If the postings continue and are
mean spirited, the worst thing to do is respond in any way, then this
person has succeeded in their goal. The best defensive response is to
ignore them.
We are a strong group and it shows. I have read more heartfelt
responses here than anywhere else. This group saved my wife Pam and
myself. We were desperate when I first posted here. I received e-mails
and phone calls; every one of them was a Godsend to us. We try to
return what we were freely given in an effort to help those still
suffering. We must remember, most on this site have been struggling for
years and have been through SO much, not just adhesion pain, but all
that goes with it. Everyone will physically react and heal differently,
but emotionally we all still need each other.
If pain returns, or someone is once again told “adhesions do not cause
pain”, the best thing we all can do is listen and encourage and pass on
what we have learned. And no, Drs. R&R, nor Dr. Korell may be the
answer for all, but so far they have reached out and tried and listened.
In the future as this site grow, so may the list of Doctors than can
help. This billion dollar problem has a long way to go toward
resolving, until then, it is just us, encouraging, loving, and listening
to each other.
Sorry to ramble on.
In Loving Friendship To All
Bob
