After going through three days of tests and seeing specialists at the
Lockwood Clinic in Toronto the 6th to 8th, I'm finally being taken
seriously there's something wrong. When I saw the Ob/Gyn at the Clinic,
I nearly passed out on him during the pelvic exam. Then I nearly fell
off the exam table when trying to get down w/the help of her nurse, the
room was spinning so badly. He told me it's one of two things or even
possibly both and that's either adheisions (which I was told in the
beginning by the only doctor who believed me here in my home area) or
endo or both. He's scheduled me for a Laproscopy on January 27th. I'm
starting to get a little nervous...Okay, a *lot* nervous and I was
wondering if those of you who have had Laps before could give me a
little advice about what to expect before and after the Operation. Other
than bringing my Pooh Bear and my walkman w/my favorite tape of relaxing
music to listen to while waiting to head to the OR, I have no idea what
else to get together or expect. Any and all tips are greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays to each and every one
of you!!
