We will not be posting these names on our website, but
will be happy to provide a referral by phone or email
to those who inquire.
There will not be a published list available. It is
up to the patient to determine if the referred doctor
meets individual treatment requirements and skill sets
or to do background checks.
The IAS does not endorse any of the doctors it may
provide as a referral, nor does the IAS substantiate
the validity of the doctors knowledge and skill set
regarding ARD.

Information
The web sites of the following organizations provide
lists of doctors and other medical practitioners who
may be able to help with Adhesions, ARD, CAPPS, Pelvic
Pain, IBS, Interstitial Cystitis etc. Please be sure
to read the disclaimers on each of these sites. Note
that many of these organizations have international
members.
* International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS)
IPPS has a searchable database of its members who
are gynecologists, urologists, urogynecologists, physical
therapists, neurologists, psychologists, pain management
specialists and others interested in pelvic pain and
related conditions.
* Doctors for Pain.com
This site has as a searchable database of pain specialists
who may be able to help with chronic pain in general.
* AAGL – American
Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists
This site has a searchable database of its members
many of whom are experienced in the treatment of patients
with
adhesions
and chronic pelvic pain.
Often these surgeons work with general surgeons on
complex cases involving bowel obstruction and it is
worth contacting an AAGL member near you to get a referral
to a General Surgeon who may help with adhesion-related
bowel obstruction.

forefront
of the development of todays’ adhesion barriers.

Probably the oldest and largest surgical organisaion
in the USA. Its members are referred to as “Fellows”.

* Endozone has a
database of featured providers of
surgeons knowledgeable about Endometriosis. They will
likely be knowledgeable about adhesions, CAPPS and
ARD.
