Hi, everybody. I'm going to keep this short. I got out of the hospital last
night (finally!), and am quite tired and hurting. It ended up being a 10-day
stay, instead of 2 or 3, and I also had a section of the colon removed.
There was also a second operation on my fourth day because of this
incredible pain that was just inside my right hipbone. It turned out to be
the ureter - it had gotten "kinked up" due to the first operation and an
adhesion, so they had to go in again, cut that adhesion, and also put a
"sten" (sp?) in (a little wire) to keep it straightened out long enough to
heal itself into place.
I'm going to go to sleep now, took a Percocet so I could. Good night.
