Hi, I had a colonoscopy last year. The jerk,,,,, I mean, ob/gyn dr that ordered my barrum enima it, told me that I passed the test. I asked, what test?? He said "I have a lot of people that complain of pain, so I just send them to get an barrum & most of them dont come back, so you are here, so you must really have pain." Well, he told me the test came out fine. Later I went to a gastrointestional dr that looked at the x rays & it showed 2 spots on it. Well I had a colonoscopy done & it was 2 palups, they were fine, but not causing my pain. I think that a colonoscopy could show scar tissue if it is squeezing the intestines or pulling on them in any way, showing a narrowing in the intestines. Good luck Robin
