My PCP has been prescribing vicoprofen. Ibuprofen alone helps in larger
doses but bothers my stomach when I take over 200mg within 6 hours....
But with the vicoprofen, 1 pill for the most part takes care of the
pain.... I only get 20 though to last 30 days.... so most of the time
I opt to take 1/2 pill with less pain relief (but it does keep it within
tolerable limits). The combination pain-killer/anti-inflammatory
definitely works better for me though than either alone.....
Thanks,
Joyce
