Jim,
I've had 5 laparoscopies. The discomfort that occurs is shoulder pain. I've
had it for only 2 days and I've had it for several weeks. Once, I didn't get
it at all.
Ask them what you can do to help the gas dissapate. I believe there was some
method of doing so, but I've forgotten.
