Dear Toni- Are you from Ohio? If so, you should try to go to Columbus to RIVERSIDE METHODIST HOSPITAL!! I had previously gone to Grant Hospital in Columbus and the doctor there put me on Neurontin and Oxycontin-----I was completely "out there" and had terrible side effects from the Neurontin---the doctor wouldn't listen and insisted that "once my body adjusted to it, I would be okay"----I was not okay until I QUIT taking the medication and I also quit going to him!!!! I am currently taking Lortab for breakthrough pain and I also wear a Duragesic Fentanyl patch 75 mg. See what you can do about getting off the Neurontin and the Oxycontin. I honestly don't believe the Oxycontin helps with pain!!! I just threw up all the time...... I still am not doing all that great....the disease is getting stronger every day----but, I TOTALLY believe in my pain doctor!!! See what you can do---I'll be thinking about you!!! In Friendship, Dena Lomax Shelby, Ohio
