I'm sure you'll be getting a message from Beverly, the quickest way to
Scranton is by way of Beverly.
The answers to your questions are yes and yes.
There is always a chance your laparascopic surgery may need to be converted
to an open procedure by Dr. Reich or Redan, but if so you can be sure it
will be the LAST time.
In the meantime, you will need your medical records. They can take a while
to get and it may require persistence on your part. You are entitled to
them, they're yours.
I'm pretty sure that any reputable doctor would like to give your belly a
chance to rest if possible, but since you seem to be at high risk for
obstruction, it may not be possible.
I think a low residue diet might help you, I know it's helping me.
