Thank you for sharing those thoughts, Sherry. Yesterday, I read a copy of a letter from a gastroenterologist I saw that was written to the GYN who referred me to him. In it he stated that he didn't feel adhesions were causing my pain and I was apparently under a great deal of stress. He also said that he didn't feel another surgery for pelvic adhesions was warranted. Gee, do you think chronic pain can make a person just a "little' stressed at times. I couldn't believe it. I never went back to that doctor and I found a different GYN, who by the way, took care of my "imagined adhesion pain" with a laparoscopy.

Yes, all pain is indeed real.
