I'm sorry to hear that you are in such pain. I am absolutely furious!!! that the drs won't put you on meds. Addicted by age 30!? There is addiction and there is dependancy. If you take your meds AS PRESCRIBED you will NOT become addicted. Your body may become dependant upon the meds, you may have to be weaned off them slowly, but you won't become addicted unless you abuse them.
My advise is: get another opinion. And if they say what the 1st dr did, get another one. Not all Drs are ignorant A*******. By making that statement, that Dr. just identified himself as one. There is NO REASON for you to live in constant pain.
