I was referred to, also wanted to switch me from Ativan to Clonidine to decrease bowel spasms. I wondered also about it, after looking it up and finding it was a high blood pressure medicine. Tracie has the name right, The physician mentioned that it could cause drowsiness and dizziness when first taken. However, glad to hear Karla, you did not get any side effects. Many thanks Karla for your info concerning muscle removal and augmentation. I have very heavy scarring over the bladder feel that there is very little muscle mass left over this area. I have often felt that a reconstructive surgeon might be more helpful, and now I know what to ask. We are all praying that you will soon be able to have the long awaited surgery, and that this heart catherization will go well! Anne H.
