Dear Zoe, Yes, I am certain that adhesions are causing your problems. Internal bleeding from your ectopic pregnancy is a known cause of adhesions.

I may be able to help you find a doctor, who understands the problems that adhesions cause and who may be able to help you.

I see that you are from the United Kingdom. Please write to me...and let me know what UK country you are from. This information would help me to locate an adhesions specialist for you.

You have my permission to write to me for this information.

Hi, I had an ovarian ectopic pregnancy 7 months ago that caused my ovary to rupture and massive internal bleeding. I had a laparotomy. Since then I have had several episodes of abdominal pain that have caused me to go to ER and every time they do an ultrasound, and check me for appendicitis. Every time they send me home saying they don't know what it is. The pain seems to get worse and more frequent and i can now feel it in my back and down my leg. It's mainly sharp pains, but sometimes a dull ache too. My husband and I are trying to concieve also. Could this be adhesions and would I be best off leaving it rather than having a laparoscopy?
