Hi Jaynie, I honestly cannot remember my experience with methodone but it
apparently didn't help my pain or I would still be taking it. You may want
to research it on the internet. Whatever works to ease or take away the
pain, that's what you need to use. I have even tried Morphine but it make
me so sleepy I couldn't tolerate it. However, the pain specialist I see has
suggested the Morphine Pump. He said the dosage administered this way
doesn't make you sleepy. That doesn't make sense but I'm in so much pain, I
will try anything once.
Is the reason for your pain adhesions and if so, why haven't you had Dr.
Reich's Adhestiolysis surgery? Do you know any people who have had this
surgery and if so, how long ago. I am trying to locate a doctor here in
Florida who uses Laparoscopic surgery to remove adhesions.
Bye for now. Take care and God Bless.
Sincerely, Linda Halford
