I am Bill Taylor. My wife suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and when she first found out that she had IBS we had trouble finding information on the subject. We have since developed a web site full of information on IBS. It is at:
I have recently started a new bulletin board for IBS. What I would like to accomplish with this site is to have more emphasis on the information side and less on the emotional support side.
Many of the IBS boards have a following who are well established; and when a professional or organization posts, there follows an eruption of posts expressing distrust from many of these members. This seems like a big game on some bulletin boards. Some boards allow only a few well liked individual members the ability to post about their product or service; but then other members are not allowed. I feel that this is not beneficial to the people who are suffering.
People need to know all of the information that is available, not just from a few select sources. My goal is to have a bulletin board that allows professionals and organizations the ability to post and to receive the respect that they are entitled. My bulletin board is at:
