This is the first chance I have gotten to post since being in Germany. I
am having a good time here with Elke, showing me around & basically
taking care of me. She is a wonderful person!! I will be having my
surgery on Monday here. I was scheduled to have it done last week,
but..... One of my meds had asprin in it, it wasnt that much,,,,, but
it was asprin, so I had to have my surgery postponded a week because of
the poteintial to bleed becaus of the asprin. This will be an issue
that will be addressed here on the board after Bev & Helen return. More
questions will be asked about medications prior to arriving in Germany
or PA for surgery. I was dissappointed to have surgery delayed, but I
would rather be safe, than sorry. It is beautiful here with the leaves
changing colors! Dr Korell is a very nice man!! He picked me up from the
airport! Thank you for your continued prayers & thoughts.
