I also believe that a CAT scan can show a problem with some adhesions. My doctor ordered one in June when I complained about pain and thought it was adhesions. I figured oh well, scar tissue, I'll live with it. But my doctor made a very good point that scar tissue can cause obstructions, herniations, strangulations, that have to be addressed. She found a large fluid filled cyst with my adhesions. So I say be on the safe side and have the CAT scan. I think we can also get a little complacent about adhesions and blame everything on them. It is a good idea to rule out any other problems too.
