Hi Robin, I think I sent my last message to the wrong person and also made some errors on it! I am curious about pain meds. I have been on Oxycontin (Morphine pills) for severe pain and now doc says I must get off of them before I am addicted. I need something strong for pain however I have an ulcer & hiatal hernia so alot of meds(esp. with codeine)make me nausiated and I throw up and/or they cause such extreme constipation that I can't take them. I already take 12 Herb Lax every night to move my bowels. The said I can take 2 Darvocet every 4 hours but it doesn't work so I started taking the Morphine within hours, however my prescription will soon run out and they dont know what to give me. Is Percocet or Vicodin hard on the stomach or bowels? Is it also a narcotic like Oxycontin? I cannot function at all without pain meds or even on Darvocet! Jean
