Jackie,

It seems that just a day or so ago I was writing the same way -- tired of feeling sick and not having the energy to do what I'd like to do.

A good friend from the ovarian cancer list wrote to urge me not to try to accomplish so much, to set myself one small goal for each day rather than a list that I couldn't accomplish.

She suggested that I give myself only one goal -- and feel OK about getting that done.

Meanwhile, I am learning to enjoy the rest and solitude that I need to keep going.

I am wasting a lot of time in feeling guilty for things that are clearly beyond my control.

Today we had a huge wind storm and lost power all morning -- little to do but rest and watch the storm. It is amazing how many things depend on electricity and how the storm freed me.

Love to all,

Kate
