Hello,

My name is Joe Kansky. I have an appointment for an inguinal hernia repair on Friday, December 29th, 2000. The surgeon has recommended against laproscopic surgery due to his belief that there is a greater chance of chronic pain. It is a very small hernia. The surgeon mentioned that never before has he seen a patient notice such a small one. It is the size of a pea. The doctor said that due to the small size there is more risk of incarceration. I am weary to have surgery on such a small hernia with very little pain. Does anyone believe there is a possibility of using the methods Igor wrote of and avoiding surgery? Also, what does Igor mean by the term: "upstanding" exercises for the abdominal? Thank you for taking the time to consider my letter. My email is : mailto:joekansky@hotmail.com.

Sincerely, Joe Kansky

In addition, does anyone have input on the dangers or success of laproscopic hernia repair?
