I went for my ultrasound today. The doctor said everything was fine, I had no cysts or masses. He said that it is probably just adhesions and nothing can be done for them. He gave me a prescription for darvecet a week agao, this doesn't help the pain at all. I told him that today and he said I shoild take motrin.I have told him I was in severe pain. I do have an appiontment for a colonospocy next Friday, with another Dr. who wants to check for bowel endo or adhesions on the inside, however he said he couldn't see if I still have endo on the outside. My gyn didn't even sugest a lap. My gyn also took me into surgery 4 times in 1 year, he knows I am not making this up. He also did a partial hyst. and then took out both ovaries, one at a time. I don't really trust him anymore and feel like he is ignoring my pain. I also made an appionment with a adhesion specialist for next Friday. Can anyone tell me what I can expect when I go see him? Also are adhesions or endo visible on a ultrasound? Can adhesions cause the kind of pain I am experiencing? My stomach is bloated, I am unable to have a bowel movement, the stomach Dr. told me to drink a bottle of mag. citrate and that would clean me out, guess what I went to the bathroom twice and still felt constipated. My have a constant pressure my stomach and it hurts terribly to have sex. The stomach Dr also asked if I had been under stress or depressed. Why do they ask that. This is not all in my head. Thanks for letting my vent, any help is appreciated. Joy
