Hi Helen ;-))

I am from Rockhampton in Oz ;-)) I had problems with my bladder and adhesions, I have had the urether resected in my last operation. I am due for another operation in approximately a weeks time. The preparations are tedious and expensive as they can only operate in Brisbane. I don't have any expertise in my town. Very frustrating when I'm trying to get this horrid pain under control I might add.

I found out today, that my beloved Professor Wood who was my specialist for approximately 12 years in Melbourne, has been diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. Why this has happened to such a kind compassionate and caring man is beyond me. He is 71, and operates still on the most hectic schedule. He even offered to fly from Melbourne to Brisbane and operate. I am his longest patient history, and I adore the man. Please, everyone put him in your prayers !!!!!

I don't know what else can be done for your bladder problems, as I'm not a surgeon, although I think I would be seeking alot of medical advice from different doctors, to see the difference in procedures they might try. I know that in the medical field, finding the right doctor, and the different procedures, can mean the difference in your health.

Professor Wood cured my Endo, my Adenmyosis, my Bowel Adhesions and floppy syndrome, now I am left with adhesions. I have found a wonderful specialist at long last, but I also checked into all the different ones, to find one that would be appropriate to my needs.

I would need to know where abouts in Oz you are Helen, so I could maybe give you a list of doctors that could help you ;-))

Kind Regards, Trace xo

Hi to all, I have'nt posted much in the last few weeks and I wanted to say hello to all the new comers that have joined this wonderful site. I am having problems with pain once again, standing or sitting for longer than 1/2 hour, I really start to ache in my left hip, which goes around to my back and then everything seems to join the party, I'm a bit disheartened seeing that my last surgery was only 3 months ago. I too have problems with bloating, especially after my evening meal, or any meal larger than a sandwich. I also have major problems with excess wind, I would'nt mind so much if they did'nt smell, but boy I can clear a room pretty fast. LOL, anyway my Gyno suggested for my windy problems charcol tablets, I don't know if you can buy them in the states, but they are easy to get here in Australia, and they do cut the wind down and take away the bad smells. I was wondering if anyone has problems with there bladder/incontince due to ARD. I just went for a uryodamymics test today because of bladder problems and they have found that I have a unstable bladder. I have problems holding urine and my bladder contracts involuntary cause urine to leak out at inappropiate times. I have had 6 major surgeries in 4 years, my last being in Oct 2000, for removal of both ovaries and adhesion removal, they did a bladder distension during the last op to see how much my bladder would hold, and they stretched it slighty but it only lasted a week, any helpful information would be great, or ideas from other people with the same bladder condition. To all the Aussies out their, Happy Australia Day (alittle bit late) hope that you had a good one.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

love to all
