nurses attitudes

Coming from another nurse I agree with what Pam was saying. Sometimes nurses and even receptionists go past their "place" in an office setting. I don't mean that in a demeaning way but it happens, a receptionist almost killed my ex-husband by telling him some symptoms were "normal" but when he finally told me we talked to the doctor and he got well. My ex-husband just assumed someone giving medical advice was a nurse.
We have to be assertive and step on some toes in my opinion, all of us deserve good health care.
