What now?

I went to my doctor Monday to ask his advice about going to PA. To make a long story short, he said that he thinks that those doctors would be of no help for me. He said that each surgery he did he found less adhesions each time(which is good news right?) Then he said that my problem is not the amount of adhesions I have, but the amount of pain they cause. I'm not real sure what that means. Anyway he gave me the names of two doctors that work together in Pain Management. He said that I need to start going to them since surgery is not an option for me. Needless to say, my husband and I just sat in his office and cried. Then the other night Teddy's mom called and told him to watch something on the news. It was about a Dr. Henry Parker, a professor at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He hypnotizes people that are in pain and have tried everything else. There were two people on there that he had "miraculously" helped. Teddy got in touch with him and he wants to meet me Saturday to go over my case. I am extremely skeptical of this, but Teddy made me promise that I would at least give it a try. Has anyone else tried this before? I will let you all know what happens when I get home Saturday.
