Believe it. It's very true. It's difficult to know with complete certainty how many folks suffer complications or worse because many times the fact the person had a laparoscopy is overlooked and the problem is wrongly attributed to another reason. It's also possible to suffer complications or worse that are due directly to a laparoscopy but the symptoms do not show up for for one, two, or even three weeks or more post surgery.
