Dear Toni:

There was another show on the night after that one and another one the next night showing only the abuse of oxycontin, but nothing about how much it is helping chronic pain patients. It was also in the National Health News as the Newest Hottest Drug being Abused, especially on the Eastern part of the US. I am very curious now to see what affect this has had on the doctors prescribing it. I won't know until my next visit to my pain specialist in March. I sincerely hope that the doctors are now not afraid to prescribe it, because of perhaps being investigated by the DEA. No matter what drug is out there, there are always going to be those that will try to find a way to abuse it. Snorting it, injecting it into their arms, you will not find a chronic pain patient even contemplating this idea, we are only seeking help in our suffering from pain and are taking it as prescribed.

I agree I take oxycontin also, amd I am no where near addicted to it! >These kind of drugs just need to be taken the way they are prescribed! > >Toni
