Karen,
You're quite welcome for the compliments on your story.
I am so upset at myself tonight that it isn't funny. I had the colonoscopy this past Tuesday, and she said she had trouble sedating me. I don't know how often that happens to people. She said the test was 'normal.' I don't really think I did a very good prep, but she didn't say anything. I hurt every day. My whole belly hurts to the touch, all the time - more since the colonoscopy. She didn't seem to worried. When I asked her if she thought adhesions were there causing trouble, she said to not even mention it, and told me in a nice way, to not even go there. She told me not to have a colonoscopy for at least another 5 years. Why do you think she said that? I hate when a Dr. doesn't explain things to me. I am upset enough as it is. When you had bowel problems, did they do a colonoscopy? If so, did it make you feel worse?
I feel terrible about what those people in Australia are going through. They have to be pretty strong to endure it. That's what I'm terrified of.. bowel obstructions, n.g. tubes, and colostomies/ileostomies.
Keep in touch.
Millie

It does sound as if everyone in England or Australia are much sicker than we
are. I have been corresponding to Jackie B. in England. I hate to hear that
she stays in bed 20 hours or more per day. I pray for everyone here on the
site. I hope you are doing much better. How many weeks post-op are you?
Thanks again for the lovely compliments on my story, I really appreciate it.
Stay in touch.
