Hi,

In response to your plea for a gallbladder surgery experience. I have had my gallbladder removed. It helped the pain go away and I am very glad I had the surgery done. By the time mine was removed I had suffered for a year with horrible pain and had lost 40 pounds. I have had another surgery since then though and did have adhesions in the area of my gallbladder surgery, but it was still very much worth it to be free of that excruciating pain. Good luck! Also one thing that is worthy of mention is that I believe a lot of my adhesion growth was due to the fact I sat bent over for many hours on an overseas flight only 2 weeks post surgery and started abdominal bleeding that they say contributes to adhesion growth. Take it easy and for what its worth consider not sitting in a scrunched position for too long really soon after your surgery. Sounds crazy but it did cause some of my problems . My doctor even agreed.

Take care,

Lori H.
