Thanks to those who replied to my previous message, via postings and
email. Wanted you to know my daughter is finally pain free (for now).
The ovarian cyst burst, abdominal pain went away. She did have other
complications, a partially collapsed lung and pneumonia from being
bedridden and on narcotics for so long. Had to wean her off the
narcotics to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Adhesions will still be a
problem for her in the future, however, since they are still present in
her abdomen. I know surgery will be in her future again at some point,
either for the adhesions or because of the Crohns Disease.
Unfortunately, laproscopy is not an option for her, the doctors feel
there is so much scar tissue they'd never get a scope in. I just pray
she has some pain free months ahead. She's been through so much at such
a young age.
