May I ask what medications that you were on that they think caused damage to your liver, and how long you were on them? I myself worry about being on narcotic pain medication for over a year now. Doesn't seem as though I have any alternative, as I've tried the surgery and that didn't work, and this is the only thing that is allowing me to live a somewhat normal life "on the good days."
