I do Menus and that usually riles it up until I am done, but a book is much more typing. I do allot of designing with minimal typing or I have to really spread it out over time. Normally my business is hard for me to keep up with so I really don't have time to spend on books that consume all your time unless it is done over a long period of time.
I will help anyone where-ever I am capable of helping without creating more medical problems or interfering with my business. Usually September till March are my slower times. March until September is usually extremely busy because I do allot of work for summer time out-door functions (company parties, fire companies and motorcycle clubs etc.) but I would have time for posters, flyers or something like that. I also do T-Shirts and other promotional items and wouldn't have a problem donating my artwork, but since I have to pay my suppliers to put it on the products I couldn't do that part for free.
I am terrible at marketing and approaching people on issues. I make the things for "other people" to advertise with. Jean . . .
