It sounds like you are having a tough time right now. While I don't know enough to help figure out why your rectum hurts, I do know that sometimes pain in one area refers to someplace different. There are so many nerves involved in adhesions. That's one reason they hurt so much. I hope Dr. Redwine or another who is experienced with adhesions can see you and help you very soon. Does sitting on one of those hemerrhoid (sp) cushions help you, in a chair or in the car? They are oval and have the center missing so nothing presses on your bottom. It's like sitting on a giant donut. Feels odd, but odd is better than ouch any day, in my book.
