Cheryl,

I take 1600 mg of Neurontin a day, 1400 at night and 200 in the morning. I originally took it for migraines, but it had the happy side effect of helping me sleep and taking some of the edge off my pain. I've been thinking about asking my doctor to increase it since, even though my pain is better, I'm starting not to sleep as well. I guess I might be building up some immunity or something.

Everyone is different and it does take a while for doctors to get to the right dosage. Hope this helps.
