Karen, I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. I guess that means that I will be doing jumping jacks around July 4. I was expecting to do cartwheels this week, but I will wait. I actually pulled weeds today. I have been having my ups and downs, but more ups today. I am actually cooking dinner tonight and going to my daughters softball game tomorrow. Kel

Kelly D,

You are in great hands! My parents and my hubby and I also met Dr. Gerhart the day before surgery, late in the day and he was absolutely superb at answering any questions. I also was the first in the a.m. for surgery at 7:30 a.m., and Dr. Redan also assisted. They are special doctor's. My surgery was on March 22, of this year and I am finally starting to feel some relief, it's taken me a long time to say that.

I wish you the best of luck tomorrow, we are all here praying for you. Isn't the view and the hotel personnel the best? The nurses and all the staff at the hospital were all so great too. I hope you get a nice woman named "Karen" for your recovery room nurse, tell her Karen Carter back from March says HI !! She stayed with me for almost 4 hours after surgery, then she had to go home, then they sent me to my room where I stayed the night and went back to the hotel until the next evening.

Good Luck, you are in our prayers.

Love,

Karen Carter
