Dear folks, you can add Stanford Medical Center and U.C. Medical/San Francisco (associated with university). They didn't wnat to hear, didn't want to talk about adhesions, and used the letter I brought from a psychiatrist saying that my only problem was pain from recurring adhesions (after three operations) to refer me to a counselor. Their reasoning was that since I had already gone to a "shrink" I must need one, so they referred me to another one. Neither medical center was any help at all, they wasted my valuable time and money. Thanks, Sally Grigg
