Hi Stacie,

I had a laparotomy 2 months ago, and still have problems sitting for long periods of time. I can only spend an hour or two sitting up before I need to recline. I keep getting reassured that it will get better.

I must admit that I am sitting up now for longer periods at a time, so I am hopeful that I will continue to improve. I get up and walk around the house a couple of times, that seems to help too.
