Dear Leslie,
Your letter deaply touched me. I am about your age with 4 sons and I
feel that I am just beginning life now that they are older and more
independant. I can't imagine how scared you must be. I had massive
bowel adhesions but I was so fortunate that they did not obstruct the
bowel. I had my 3rd adhesiolysis in Germay 21/2 months ago and I belive
that I will remain pain free now. I also had the entire top of my
vaginal wall removed which had a nerve mass entrapped. I never gave up,
never!! I really got depressed last year after traveling alone to
Germany and getting cured of my adhesions but having the nerve
regenerate. But I bravely went back again and now my only problem is
getting off the drugs after 31/2 years. I am down to less that half of
my doses but I am going to go into an impatient treatment center to get
off the rest. My advise to you is start praying if you haven't, and go
to the best! That is Scranton or Germany. I believe that you will only
get worse if an untrained doctor does surgery on you. With love and
prayers, Joanne
