Dear Sally,

My experience in the recovery(though very scarey and painful!) was the most amazing medical attention I have ever receieved from a hospital staff. I had heat lamps, a nurse standing at my side to give me a piece of ice every few minutes or so I got plenty of meds while I was in the recovery room. I did not have a problem until they took me to the room and the nurse there was very slow to tend to me, and unfortunatel, it was at this time where my mom was not there with me to help get me what I needed.

What I'm trying to say is, that you will be fine! I hope someone will be able to stay with you your first 8-10 hours after surgery in case something comes up, they will be able to help you.

Love and hugs,

Janet
