Hi Kathryn:

Welcome to The Spot - the spot to find answers and/or suggestions to every question you may have or may come up with.

I think everyone of us has tried changes in diet and exercise with varying results. Some have excellent results with natural remedies, while others get no relief from them at all. I've been one of the lucky ones so far - I haven't had to resort to "drastic measures" such as enemas for BM's, but when I do go more than two or three days, I take a couple of Equate brand stool softeners (Wal-mart's equivalent to Colace) with good results. Another suggestion that has been made, if I remember correctly, is senna tea.

I'm sure you'll get all kinds of suggestions. We on this board are quite willing to let people know what has worked for each of us. This is one place where you can be the judge of what works best for you without catching flack from your medical practitioner for "drug abuse" - most of the suggestions you will get are going to be non-prescription.

Again, welcome "Home".
