My daughter is 17, and was diagnosed at age 9. Other than some crohns
activity in her rectum, her crohns is relatively under control. She had
an ileostomy done in 1998,and a subtotal colectomy in early 2000...
problems now are mostly pain and recurring bowel obstructions due to
adhesions. Awaiting a call from the on-call surgeon as I type, she has
started throwing up ... here we go again...
