I guess I'm just bumming because my psychiatrist suggested to my internist that I might have fiber myalgia syndrome (FMS) last year. She ran some blood test and then told me I didn't have it. The pain mgmt. Dr. said you can't diagnose FMS with a blood test! He said you have to do a physical exam for the presence of tender points and if you had 11 of them, you had FMS. Well, I had 17 out of 18!!! My internist is also a rheumotologist and supposedly would know!
So, now I'm supposed to exercise (HAHA) and reduce the stress in my life....sure wish that husband of mine would win that darn Powerball!
