Amy, I have to tell you again...I really
do...unfortuantely, your daughter has these adhesions
problems...without the surgeory you'll be guessing at
what is going on inside her...so will she. It is a
double edge sword...do I do this and take the risk
that this surgeory gives her more adhesions? Some
times we have to accept there are no other
alternatives. Another doctor? Honestly, I think
you're 2nd opinion will be "we have to see what's
going on...or she has to live with it". Even then it
will still be another choice...ultimately the same
choice. Do I ride it out and get more prescriptions,
or do we go inside and see what's wrong. Not to
mention the time (the possible negative treatment),
and how this affects you and your daughter emotionally
and physically...(physically worse for your
daughter-but I know this physically takes its affects
on you, too). Your daughters been sick a while...I
really believes it all boils down to you having a good
relationship with the dr. In this day and age a dr.
with a sympathetic ear...means alot. I pray you both
receive wonderful treatment by the staff at the
hospital...that they reassure you and guide you
through this...and God, I know, will guide you
through. Drink some chamomile tea or raspberry tea to
help calm your nerves. You need a bubble
bath...better yet, a mother daughter day @ the spa.
You both deserve the royal treatment. (Hey maybe
Megan will let you paint her toes tonight...so her
feet look pretty for the dr. Tell her I hope her
doctor is cute...(ha ha) if not tell her there will be
other cute drs there for her to see. Smile. Marianne
LOVE
