Christine,
After being in the hospital for eight months due to a botched lysis of
adhesions I learned my original surgeon (my ob/gyn for years) had had his
license taken away, he had been writing himself narcotics and was an addict.
We went to see a lawyer to see if there was any recourse for us since he was
probably "high" when he did my surgery and we came to a dead end. It is
really difficult to prove malpractice, even in California!
