Marianne, You might want to try a full-body bed warmer. It is like a heating pad but safe to use all night. I have one on my bed. Some even have a temperature control and an automatic shut-off. I didn't want mine to shut off. You could lay on your belly and it would feel good. I lay on my bad hip on the body warmer but can't lay on it otherwise.

I also use a regular heating pad during the day. JEAN

Dear Marianne,

I know I am the wrong one to give advice on this one...scorching skin to me feels terrific compared to adhesions(LOL!)...I doubt many of us have used heating pads for only 20 min intervals...probably more accurately, twenty hour intervals! I've not been using any regular type of "heat therapy" with the outside temps so high lately. It took my splotches 3 months to fade away after my last surgery...hope you get some good advice from someone who will be a better influence!

Love,

Janet
