I have an old remedy that I got from my Grandma in place of an electric heating pad. Take a bag of rice, put it in the microwave & heat it up, then wrap it with a towel. It works great & doesn't get any hotter. When it cools down, reheat. You can put any amount that you want into zip lock bags & even heat the towel up with it. Just becareful that you don't get it too hot or you will burn yourself. I hope this will help someone. love Robin
