Dear Helen and Bev, Did I read you correctly? " Adhesions only form from
2 to 7 days after surgery?" Where are the scientific papers and research
articles behind this amazing statistic? I'm quite interested in science
and studied four years for pre-med, which of course does not make me a
scientist. But that is just so amazing I would like to dig deeper. My
biggest adhesion, removed by Dr. Reich and Redan on 6/28/01 was
enormous - a great big Grecian column the whole length of my abdomen and
quite big around. It was filled with bloody tissue, nerves, fat, etc.
This happened in seven days? If that is true, shouldn't the doctors be
going back in in seven days and removing any new growths. And shouldn't
we be suspended in water and rotating or something to prevent their
return. Thank you both for all of your work and dedication. Still in
pain, fourth surgery, 33 years of adhesions, Love, Sally Grigg
