I just found out today that I had been diagnosed with Pelvic Adhesive
Disease over 10 years ago. I found this out while attempting to get
private health insurance. As a result, the insurance company is
insisting on a rider to my policy that includes no coverage of anything
to do with "disease or disorder of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and
surrounding structures including treatment or operation for or
complications thereof..".
Unfotunately, this includes any anuual exams and tests or any future
problems/diseases that I could be diagnosed with at a later date. Has
anyone else had a similar experience and how did you handle it? Does
this disease create a higher incidence of cancer??
