Re: Marianne- Diarrhea

O.K. this is helpful...yes...I meant running all day...I'm worried about that cause MOM's did that too me...I know my problems are not as sever as yours...but, the similiarity is that I can tell the stool is too hard to get out. Fiber makes the stool harder to get out...so, i don't know why they put me on it...but, they said it could take 3-4 days...and since I don't know if this is adhesion build-up, or a partial blockage...I'm sticking with the fiber diet for another 2 days...hoping it is intestinal recupe probs. However, today they mentioned ulceritive colitis...chrones..IBS...so...do you think that herblax or the other stuff you're suggesting would be less gentle to me than MOMs? They suggested a suppository and stool softener. Frankly, I'm confused...but, don't want to jump the stress gun on thinking it's adhesions...I want to remain calm (stress is such a pain aggravator)...and try several different diets. Do you know if a colonoscopy would cause adhesions? And is this the same as a stigmoidscopy (whatever it is called)...your help is appreciated. I certainly don't want to end up on laxatives for support as you have....but, as I said...you've been through years of this, with alot more surgeories. And it does boil down to...yes!!! I want relief from the bloating and cramping...without diarrhea. I had to take a pain pill last night, along with a sleeping pill....never done that. Didn't want to either....fought it all night...I just couldn't stand it anymore. So, what input do you have? --- Jean Long <creative@enter.net> wrote: > Marianne,
