Sally....thank you for your reply....I do take a pain medication and have had colonolspy(?) spelling not good....I do have FM, which IBS is part of....but the pain is very much like the previous pain and I was certainly in bad shape from adhesions at that time.....for no reason at all about 10 minutes after I put food in my stomach it starts coming out....now this is not every day....can not make many plans....I do have an appointment with the dr. that did the surgery in Aug. my MD has always been really good....I have also been to a specialist in Ohio State University Hospital....I have also had several stomach surgeries....with FM it really hard to think in the morning and I am trying to get ready to go to work....FM is Fibromylgia and I have had it for over 7 years.....thanks again for your infor....Spudzy
