Looking to talk (email) patients of Dr.Gerhart

I would like to talk or email anyone who Dr.Gerhart had operated on for very extensive adheaions. He says it would take 6 hours to perform my surgery,and 1 week in hospital. Just would like to know what I might expect from someone who has been through this. Also I am 71 years old has anyone been through this surgery at my age?
